What's your firm's attitude about "moonlighting" -- are they encouraging or do they try to restrict such efforts ?
don't ask don't tell everyone does it though. as long as it's not interfering with your work no one really says anything.
They might not care except for insurance companies make them care, that's why it is a no-no. I told them what I was doing and they just had a waiver drawn up releasing them from any liability if I goofed anything up, it woudn't go back on them.
"don't ask don't tell" is the way to go!
i had a potential project and told my bosses about it they said, go for it -- "we all did it, you should do it" now i have four projects that financially render my day job insignificant
financially insignificant, but my day job does come first
