I went on Friday night. I wasn't too impressed. I thought some of the objects were aesthetically beautiful and some to be funny. But I took issue with howthe show mixed both real-life safety products and artists' interpretations of "safety objects." If the two were separate, I think it would have been more effective.
Additionally, I didn't think it went nearly as far as it could have exploring what makes us feel unsafe/safe. There were relatively few objects that had anything to do with the psychology of fear.

It was originally conceived in that direction. But then 9-11 happened, the exhibit got postponed, and restructured to be more 'optimistic.'
