I went to see New York Minute with my litter sister and one of the Olsen twins was a drummer and her band did a sweet version of Suffragette City by David Bowie.
Yet another horrid Jessica Simpson cover: she sang that nauseating Robbie Williams ballad about loving angels. Crap. The song sucked to begin with and only got worse.
Tori tribute album Songs of a Goddess....i just wanna throttle those Simple/Dragon Style slag shits!
but ..that was some time ago...i am in denial of possessing it
Hilariously bad, but awesome too is Type O Negative's cover of some Sarah Macgloclan (spelling?) song. Really funny. They have some interesting covers too though, see "Summer Breeze."
I second 311 as being terrible.
Most punk covers of anything. Punk can be good, but when bands just "punk up" a song by speeding up the drumming and adding "whoooaa" to it, it's bad.
One of the best cover albums I've heard to
date is Emm Gryner's 'Girl Versions'. Covers
of old rock and punk songs rendered on piano ..
from Fugazi's 'Waiting Room' to Ozzy's 'Crazy Train'
to Blur's 'Song 2' (I kid you not, but it works).
Easily rivals Tori's Strange Little Girls ...
Worst Music Cover ever done....
I'll keep it current with my pick and choose Jessica Simpson and her horrific cover of "Take my breathe away"
oh, also the Ataris "Boys of Summer" >>shudder
having a bad day DJ?
hey cracker, you got a friggin problem?
"Smell the Glove"
It's very degrading to women.
311 doing The Cure's Lovesong is pretty terrible.
got to agree with Manteno
best cover song...hurt(NIN)done by the late & very great Johnny Cash(spelling??-all fans please don't kill me)
i dont find NINs hurt bad at all...
let also talk about good coversongs
for one i like 'boys in the hood' a cover of Dr. Dre by Dynamite Hack

DJ - HAHAHA....
I have heard some horrific pink floyd covers, although I can remember either the songs or the bands(thank god)
the worst album cover ever:
http://www.christopherconnock.com/zipzaprap.jpg
yeah, its not the cover of a song, but an actual album. still rocks.
notice the clever placement of 'zap' for the ladies
This local band from a few years back, called the CooCoo Rogers did a horendous cover of Bowie's Suffer City. Terrible
monty python's classical massacre
best/worst ever
Tori tribute album Songs of a Goddess....i just wanna throttle those Simple/Dragon Style slag shits!
but ..that was some time ago...i am in denial of possessing it
I've only heard of it... Barbra Streisand covering Bowie's "Is there Life on Mars?"
There is a cover album of Gram Parsons songs from a couple of years ago and most are so bad I can't even remember...
Didn't Leonard Nimoy cover "McArthur Park"?
I wonder if that new move about Parsons has some better covers.
Favorite Cover: Bay City Rollers covering Dusty Springfields "I only wanna be with you"
New York Dolls "Stranded in the Jungle"
Hilariously bad, but awesome too is Type O Negative's cover of some Sarah Macgloclan (spelling?) song. Really funny. They have some interesting covers too though, see "Summer Breeze."

brittney spears covered the stones "satisfaction"
who the fuck does she think she is doing that?
This bitch is out of control. She must be stopped
william hung - she bangs
american idol candidate - like a virgin
if you want good cover songs - Lenord Cohen 'Im Your Fan' album.
OH the WORST! Limp Bizkit's cover of "Opiate" by Tool. That makes my skin crawl. Fred Durst is awful!
Jessie James wouldn't build Durst a bike because he thinks he is a pansy
Rack him

slayer's cover of "born to be wild" has got to be right up there.
I can't say I've ever actually heard Jessica Simpson's work, but if I had, I'd probably be agreeing with ya'll.
The worst has to be Mae West's cover of 'Twist and Shout'. She must have been pushing 70 at the time and sounds like a dying cow. Shockingly bad.
"Puff Daddy doing "Roxanne" by the Police on Sting's greatest hit CD, absolutley horrible!"
I haven't heard it, but I cannot imagine it could be listenable...what a disaster that sounds like!!!
shatner or nimoy covers are both horrible and funny at the sasme time!
nah man, common people is gene~ous!
'the locomotion' - kylie minogue version
Pat Boone's entire album "In a Metal Mood". Check out his version of Enter Sandman.
There should be no debate about this topic.
The winner of the worst cover ever is Winger doing Purple Haze.
Travesty
iDK, but best is NIN Hurt by Johnny Cash
