archichet, when did you live there and what were you doing? I'd love to some day move back but I get the impression there isn't much of a market for architects there.
born in toa baja p.r.
raised in El Bronx! NY
hit the streets of manhattand when in my teens
became a hermit in Ithaca

To the first question, see my profile (I too, like johndevlin, wish more people would flesh out their profiles).
To the second question, the place I truly WANT to live is Portland, Oregon, again, where I lived after undergrad/before grad and where my parents still live. It's the most perfectly and dramatically sited city I've ever been in, with a walkable downtown and fun neighborhoods, and the overall vibe there - earnest, happy, hippies mellowly enjoying the gorgeous earth and the local beers, along with some tough as nails natives and a few somewhat relaxed hipsters - is perfect for me.
Where is everyone here from?
I am from San Diego. And you?

I've got a question - where do you want to live? (If you don't live there already.) And, why aren't you living there?
My 2 cents: Barbados. Not living there 'cuz I don't think there's much work for architects.
Jamaica or Italy, or the Netherlands.
'cause I'm not independently wealthy.
