im trying to import some simple stuff fr AI into a CAD [lite] dwg. it keeps saying fatal error when i try to either open or [copy /paste].. i tried saving as dxf as well as eps .. any suggestions -? many thanks *ie i think im doing something wrong here ..
what versions of everything are you using?
i figured it out - had to reduce the # o colors helped -- i guess..?? ie it opened in cad thanks
It is very likely an compatibility issue between the versions of the programs you are using. you should be able to bypass that by exporting as .dxf

and here was i thinking this was about artificial inteligence and a cad program that will do my ceiling plans while i go to the pub
