losing experience due to 6-month rule

warren393

I have 10 years of experience working under registered architects.  I recently decided to take the ARE after many years of putting it off.  I found out today that some of my time wasn't acknowledged by the e-EVR system, and NCARB won't accept it due to the 6-month rule.  Anyone else had this problem?

Already covered in this thread. The general consensus was "your own fault for not following random. shifting rules". Or something like that.

until recently there were still a couple of states where you could get licensed without IDP--look into whether you can still do that.  if so, you can take the ARE, get licensed, call yourself an Architect and do fancy competitions abroad, and finish IDP in the meantime so you can eventually get reciprocity in your own state.
