architectural studies-in what direction???

gabriel@archinect

Hello,

Well i am from Greece and i am studying architecture. So i am veeeery confused. I live in a country with the architectural growth based on one material---reinforced concrete----if i am calling it right. I am so influenced of zaha hadid work. Her shapes her buildings i cannot tell that it is amazing but certainly i can say "different architecture" from this architecture that i am studying in greece. So i want your opinions about which direction i should follow for experimenting with other forms "different"---Also i want to go for the erasmus program.Which country do you suggest me?My options are spain germany and italy.---

Thank you very much

A lot of Hadid's work is concrete.  Her work is different from any country.  She's a rock start of architecture and has surpassed rockstar-like odds to get their (basically, your chances of building a building like Hadid are about the same of having a hit song, probably worse).

Look around you for other inspiration, otherwise you'll be setting yourself up for a major disappointment later on, like many of us faced.

Good luck.
