Formal innovations can arise out of programmatic, structural, or environmental requirements, in a way that isn't totally random. I don't understand the motivation behind these forms. If you devote yourself to manufacturing these objects, why wouldn't you just call yourself a sculptor? Is there a transcript of the lecture floating around anywhere - what did he say about them?

The "Cloaca's" poo did smell like poo, BTW.
