Actually, this is possibly a great opportunity for small firms right now: hire out one of your un(der)utilized workstations to freelancers on an hourly basis. Plotting is extra, of course, or could be done at a printing shop.
a firm I used to work at did that when we had to lay off half the staff. The hard part is connecting the individuals needing the computers to the firms desperate enough/willing to rent out spaces.
if only there were some website or something which facilitated this...

Architecture Computer Labs in Los Angeles?
Anyone know of any architecture computer labs in Los Angeles? Where I could pay some daily/hourly fee to use a computer with Autocad, Rhino etc?
Not a student right now so I don't have access to any school computers... Not in a position to buy a new computer either, unfortunately.
