My thesis was on prefab disaster relief modules...
Some offices / projects I looked at were:
-Jennifer Siegal [not that she builds much]
-Kieran Timberlake [more for the dialogue between mass production and design]
-Grab the book XS - it's got some "design for the everyday" solutions
-Any of the "Prefab" books, or the book "Mobile"
It's kinda hard to find good sources. I just mainly established an architectural dialogue between materiality and form, then proceeded from there.
Lightweight/ Modular architecture
I am looking for good examples of lightweight modular architecture. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
