can anyone provide some good examples of built kinetic/opeable facades. I have already checked the other threads and they didnt provide much. Thanks
i heard the new f.i.t building is going to have a sweet one!!!!!!! fuck yeah!
This maybe too obvious: Arab Institute in Paris - Jean Nouvel
Three From Morpohsis: CalTrans Headquartes in LA Federal Building in SF And a new building in Sacramento that I am blanking on. From herzog and deMuron: Apartment blocks in Austria and Paris. How kinetic did you have in mind? Practically, a sash window makes a facade "operable/kinetic".
Check out Michael Fox's work. He lectured here last spring, and all his work deals with this topic. He's a great guy - even took us out for coffee. :)http://www.mafox.net/
popeye...your damn right it will thanks peeps, yeah, it could be as easy as opeing a sash window.. i am looking for the whole spectrum.
