I thought I would share a project we worked on last semester for the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York. I goto school at Clemson University in SC and just wanted to show some of the work we are doing here.

looks pretty nice, it seems like it could have defined the space around it a bit more and had a few more functions no seemed like they were comfortable while sitting

however, very cool project, i would be proud to have it in my portfolio how much did the final product cost?

Veux,

The space around it was dictated by the space we were given at ICFF, a 10'x10' block, so we were pretty constrained.

We were on a tight budget; we had about $6000.

Thanks for the comments!

Interesting…
Rekindles memories of 3D dinosaur kits.
I can’t imagine how difficult/ heavy that must be to move...3/4"?

The weight was an issue we had to deal with. Our initial tests were way too heavy. So, we reduced weight by removing large solid areas of material and then used these areas to make the spacers (which became text) that separate each sheet of plywood. In the final, most pieces can be set down by two people easily.
