Well, what is the scale of your built-work? Was it done within a firm? Or by yourself? Did you do the actual construction or did you perform CA on the project? Did you do all the design or did you do drafting and design details?
example of overselling - saying only that you designed the building, when you were really one of several on a design team that all contributed to it. Things like that, that eliminate or diminish the work of others in order to make it look like you contributed more than you really did.
construction/ built project images
Does anyone have advice on how to present construction/ built projects in a portfolio for grad school? Any don'ts I should be aware of? Thanks.
Be very clear about exactly what role you played in each project. Don't try to oversell yourself, it would probably backfire.
what qualifies as "overselling"
what qualifies as "overselling?"
thank you.

Just be specific about what you did.

overselling = not telling the truth about your role and the role of others.
