a new parking garage here by an out of town architect has a perforated metal skin. it is about a year old. the metal has rusted and is streaked with stains.
why is perforated metal cool again?
perforated metal is still cool........it just sounds like perhaps the architect/engineer specified either the wrong metal, wrong finish, or wrong connecting system
....or, the garage owners don't like to maintain their property well.
do you guys know Diamond Perf in LA? They have a great site where you can customize the spacing of the perforations, etc and then print them out for comparison.
Thanks for the compliment, I always wanted somebody to call one of the ones I did something other than 'krap', or 'shite'. Man I'm so glad to have escaped that. Tough to admit culpability in ugly-ing up the country.

Kynar 500 w/Clear coat would've prevented rusting.
i agree kynar is the way to go.

I knew somebody'd use the word 'patina'.
Does 'Cor-Ten' (or a recent equivalent) make perf. mtl pnls? All the patina you want, already there.
