I am thinking about applying to Cornell as a transfer student and I have a couple questions maybe past or current students could help me out with. I have read on here that there are two ways into Cornell. Either by having very good marks or having an amazing portfolio. So my question is if I had an amazing portfolio, letters of recommendation, etc but my high school average was only 77% and my university average was 70% is there any way I might get in? Are these marks to low for me to even be considered at a school like Cornell?
Is your 70% university average taking your General Ed into consideration? If so, what is your core GPA? Some committees are willing to overlook your overall for the core.
