I am working on a project to design a small restaurant in London, however this is the first time for me to make a contract with my client. Can anyone give me some information or references? For instance on responsibilities... Ideally someone might have a typical contract, that would be excellent. Thank you very much guys!!
this was discussed with reference to a residential project. 'Course the rules will be different in London, but I'd bet that RIBA has some of the same document services that the AIA does and there's no substitute for having a legal friend read over what you've proposed. Also, other more experienced architects are often willing to help/give advice/provide some boilerplate language, if you act pathetic.
