for my thesis design i am doing a transit hub(train, ferry, and bus)....was wondering if anyone could suggest some transit facilities to study and look at?
Look at the millinium line project that was done in Vancouver, BC. many stops on a transit line done by a number of different regional Architects. Many unique and outstanding projects. Busby + Associates ( Busby.ca ) is a good place to start. ( sustainable, edgey stuff and some ifrst structural engineering feats.
Also look at early stuff by Calatrava, Zurich train station I think???
you probably have already looked at it, but i'll say yokohama by foa just in case... and be sure to find their circulation diagram, not as sexy as the sections but a good synopsis of what they wanted to accomplish.
