Vectorworks 11 to Autocad

davenyc

We're a dual office running both software packages. Anyone have any tricks to getting Vectorworks to export to Autocad without any weird loss of scale. Seems files open in Autocad really small and have to be enlarged. Is there some hidden check box in Vectorworks to solve this?

Thanks in advance if you can help.

make sure you are exporting all layers to a 1:1 scale... since one typically draws in scales in vectorworks, but draws at 1:1 in autocad.

there is a check box "rescale layers to", make sure it's checked and says 1:1...

Everything's set to 1:1. Symbols seem so mess with the conversion. But also just a regular export with one layer set to 1:1 comes out out of scale. The conversion process hasn't been the smoothest in the past and apparently they still haven't gotten it perfect. Just seeing if anyone has any real luck with it.
