I've just upgraded to VW 11 Architect w/ Rederworks. Out of the box, the 2D production level capabilities are hard to beat. Viewports at last! The 3D tools are OK, but if you have the time, creat your own 3D objects and plug-ins and forget about using the packaged ones. The rendering capabilites are OK at best, but not bad considering they're packaging 2D, 3D and Rendering in one package for about $1600cdn.
