Why don't you look at Gregg Fleischman's work?. He developed his work before the widespread advent of CNC tools but his work is more innovative than a lot of the stuff being done right now.
- Gregg Fleishman's chairs are increadibly comfortable. Talking to Gregg Fleishman is incredibly uncomfortable.
If you are in LA, check out Mountain Bar in Chinatown. The bar is all cnc-milled plywood. The rumor is it was done by SCI-Arc students. Anyone care to enlighten? It is a pretty cool project that is definitely worth checking out.
