Does anyone know how the chimney is constructed when one's dealing with, in this case, a four storey apartment building with a fire place on each floor and what (to me appears to be) a communal chimney? Is it actually four different chimneys baked into one, or is each of the fireplaces connected to a major chimney (sort of in the same way a toilet is connected to the plumbing)?

they should each have thier own flue, usually running side by side.
Almost thought so, but I wanted to be certain... Thanks a bunch, man.
