Things are being finalized now with the competition results.  We will begin posting the winners, one per day, on the main part of the site by the end of the week.

a note on their website would have been nice though

Seriously.  I wonder where they get their funding.  Its hard to find a good / reliable competition group these days.

It's completely hit or miss it seems with competitions these days, at least for competitions that dont include you having to print out a ton of stuff and mail huge boards

I hate when people say crap like this. It's a freakin ideas competition. Its about testing and speculating on ideas. You just end up sounding like sour grapes...

I am not sure why you would think that, unless i am supposed to just say that every winning entry was the most amazing thing ever?

The ideas behind the winning entries were interesting, but the visuals weren't all that great to me, partially because many of it was so into the theoretical blod-like stuff that we see everywhere, it sometimes can all look to be variations of the same design, and can essentially be plopped down anywhere in the world and has nothing to do with this site.

So unless you are one of the winners and think i am bashing your entry (which i am not) or you are one of the organizers of the competition and think i am bashing the results of your competition (which i am not), I am not sure why you are so offended.....

To be honest, I dont really care either.  My impressions of the winning entries was a bit underwhelming compared to my expectations.

The problem is that the "speculation" that the website promotes is typically guided more by form than thought. The form is not always "genuinely" the result of a conceptual investigation.
