jurors' background

.dwg

when you enter competitions, do you make it a point to research the stylistic, academic, or professional background of the jurors so that you might be able to tell what each would like?

If you create something... You should create something for all people... So you should not have to research the Jurors background unless you believe that the research will improve your overall creation.

no, don't research the juror's so you can play up to them.

better to not do the competition if the judge is one with an ideology you can't stand, though.

that's what came to my mind as well when i was asking this question. i think there is some kind of relationship with a competition program and the jurors that are picked. either they have expertise in the type of program/materials that are featured in the competition or part of the culture of the site that the competition surrounds.. or.. etc. ...just wondering if anyone thinks of the jurors' methodologies or philosophies when it comes to competitions. it's not really about wooing them or anything..
