The student architecture organization that I am affiliated with has some university funds that we must spend on "travel." I'm wondering if any of you know of any architecture related events that will be taking place in either July or August of this year. If not, is there a site somewhere with this info (besides the AIA site). Thanks for your help.
why not participate in the summer workshop - "PROCESS - the como workshop"?
this is an architecture workshop to be held in como, italy from 11 - 31 july, as part of the centenary celebrations for g. terragni. the workshop will have up to 40 international students, with guests such as greg lynn, patrik schumacher, frederick migayrou, mark burry, bernard cache, and others. it is being directed by donald bates from Lab architecture studio.
the studio will be in terragni's asilo (children's school) and will include tours and lectures in the cas del fascio, with visits to turin, milan, and around como to visit other terragni works.
como is a great town to spend three weeks in.
