I have an IBM T42P with a P M 745 and 1GB RAM. I am looking to boost the sound system. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have been looking around for info on my system, but I believe that the sound card is integrated. Is it just a matter of my head phone / speaker setup or can I actually get a more powerful sound output? Any D.J.'s with advice out there? Thanks.
get a usb 2.0, firewire or PCI card interface external sound cards to get more power (like 5.1), for cheap look into sound blaster audigy 5.1, m-audio, or hercules... if you got the money lay it all down on a rme audio hammerfall, its DOPE
