Well a lot of the 'best' student stuff is utter tripe - impossible to understand 3D/PS renderings while the silly person talks about X/Y/Z axis or something equally pretentious.
Real architecture; spaces which do indeed harbour and inspire the human spirit certainly do not suck.
Just look at the new Phaidon Atlas, lots of inspirational stuff in there done by ordinary architects.
