I am trying to send a .pdf document which should be 11x17 landscape orientation. Everytime I publish this document it open in portrait orientation. can someone tell me how I can fix this?
why not just print it from acrobat instead of shaggin round with powerpoint? Make sure you select 'auto-rotation and size' Acrobat is pretty good at working it all out for itself.

Thank you.
mac or pc?
pc..
I am trying to do this from Powerpoint. I go to the printer options, select landscape, and yet it prints fucking portrait!!!!
try setting the layout to landscape in "page setup", under file.
unfortunately it already is...
do I need to go into control panels? > printer pref.?
ok, perhaps print it as portrait 11x17, then rotate the page in acrobat?

print portrait...it might be a glitch in your install...i've had that problem before with powerpoint and other programs...it should work...
i had a similar problem when printing pdfs from acad... it was intermittent, so i never really figured it out.
my workaround was to go acad > eps > photoshop > pdf.
i think its a bug in acrobat... maybe check adobe's web site?
