I wish you could run a laptop as a second monitor. That would be awesome. My laptop can run a second monitor, but my desktop is better than my laptop. I wish I could plug that bad boy up and run dual monitors! OH YEAH!
Oh yeah, I know you can't do it, that's why I said I wish you could. If there was an option to use the LCD independently of the computer, just as a second monitor. I've got dual monitor support on my Nvidia Quadro FX 1100, but I only own one monitor and don't always have space for a second, so it would be awesome if the laptop could pull double duty.

the problem is not in the vid card, it is in the lack of video inputs on the laptop.
don't think there is a way to do what you want.
