3dmax - looping an animation

örkmand

A simple action i guess..but how do I make the propel of a helicopter keep spinning during a one minut animation - independent of the rest of the model..

I just put the number of revolutions (I could be wrong, I did it about 2 years ago and don't have max in front of me) high enough to go past the time, like 20000 or something.

I am sure there's a better way to do this. Maybe copy the keyframes?

i am a total novice in 3ds max. Where excactly do I find the number of revolutions? I am only able to make one rotation of 360 degrees in a keyframe. Is there someway to loop it?

Ok, I'll look later on, that may not be what it's called.

But if you want to know for sure, as helicopters and flying vehicles are not something I usually work with, go to CG Talk for some of the best max users out there.

If you do, post the response you get.

As far as I know the best way is to copy the keys in the motion track window and paste them along the timeline,
