Vegas is the asshole of the world, made of plastic marble and filled with papier-mache Ceasar statues on every corner. It is ONLY bearable when COMPLETELY f*cked up, and becomes hellish at first signs of sobering up... so I don't know...if there IS anything there, I have yet to see it. I think most of the hipper, newer work has gone into CLUBS, as opposed to whole hotels. You have to remember that MOST people who stay at those hotels are, well, the typical spandex-clad vegas crowd
vegas is a bit tacky. but you could try looking at the new Wynn hotel. it's supposed to open at the end of april. it's definitely set itself apart from the other hotels on the strip.
