ive printed a 6 story 600m2 model at 1:100 with PLA floor by floor. Looks great because its a good scale. no issue with doing it floor by floor. It takes a minute to stack up and align and glue together, but thats pretty easy as model making goes historically speaking.
printed a 5 story 18000m2 project at 1:500 using a sinter printer. stunning outcome but it was pretty delicate at that scale. It was printed all at once. Since then I am inclined to set PLA printers aside entirely because the sinter print has very fine resolution and can deal with columns in space, etc without any problem.
