Bluebeam Punchlists

Warning:  technobabble question.

Anyone here use Bluebeam to create punchlists?

We've been doing this for a few years but our keynotes are very specific and we have a lot of them. IE  PNT1 = touch up paint, PNT2 - paint, ect.  We have a custom spreadsheet that allows us to make comments and link photos to each keynote.  The downside to this system is that you need to create spaces in the Bluebeam plan to identify where the keynotes are.  Well, unless you have a tablet.  Something most subs don't have.

I'm looking at revising this to using spec numbers with a sequenced suffix.  IE 03-1 through 03-99 for concrete.  This way each keynote and punchlist item has a unique callout. We could then add notes in the table to describe what is needing correction.

The issue is for each keynote with a different subject the sequencing number starts over.  This creates multiple keynotes with the same callout.  See the image below. For example:  09  with the subject Tile would have the same sequence numbering as 09 with the subject Paint.  Very confusing.

My question is has anyone had successful with creating sequenced keynotes that are continuous despite the subject?
