Revit LT

axonapoplectic

anyone here use Revit LT? Just wondering if it’s worth it for sole practitioners/moonlighters - or if I should stick with my current combo of sketchup and autocad.

I just bought it as well. I haven’t used it yet but you should look at the comparison chart with regular revit. Also, autodesk has a revit lt suite that comes with autocad lt.

we've been doing rhino + acad lt for 10+ years on small projects & it's worked very well (just started bim last year for more complicated things [archicad since we're mac based])

no reason to go revit until you're full time solo & work has made you reconsider the drafting time of maintaining a complicated drawing set. i looked at revit lt for the cost (til i realized it's not on mac), but it seemed neutered of some items i might have wanted even on small projects
