Columbia GSAPP vs Mcgill
Hi everyone! I got accepted at Columbia GSAPP without any $$$ and McGill University. GSAPP has always been my dream school but thinking about how much this would cost breaks my heart, especially with McGill being a good and cheap school. I would love to hear your guys' opinions and what makes columbia worth the price?
I'd choose McGill because my home is in Canada, and I intend to work here after I graduate.
It definitely sucks saying this but I think you should go with McGill because no funding and living expenses would be too much if you chose Columbia. No dream school is worth crippling debt. I had to make that tough decision when I was applying to keep it local for this very reason.
where did you end up going to school?
I'm still in the process of deciding since I'm a fall 2022 applicant but I'll likely accept UofT's offer.
Don’t pay ridiculous USA tuition. McGill is an excellent school.
