I'm an American artist/designer in Beijing for a fellowship to study abandoned architecture (for a painting series and I'll be studying the same topic in a few countries). I'm trying to learn more about architectural heritage and architectural preservation in Chinese architecture so I wanted to get in contact with some architecture professors at Tsinghua University because I know it's a well regarded arch program and they offer English programs. I've tried emailing a few of the professors with no response and I'm going to try calling the school as well as the professors with the numbers posted on the department website. But aside from that, does anyone else have advice about getting in contact with these professors (or any arch professors in the Beijing area)?
