I keep on seeing ads on archinect for Ware Malcomb... the job postings aren't just for one, two, three, four, five, six, or seven people... they have many many more.... and these job postings are up for months at a time... what's going on here? Is it a revolving door?
It's a large firm - hundreds of employees in multiple offices. The issue isn't turnover (yet), it's rapid growth. In the past 3 or 4 years it's repeatedly been #1 on lists of fastest growing design firms, and in the top few thousand fastest growing US companies of all kinds. It will be interesting to see how their boom holds up in the next few years - will they keep adding 70 jobs at a time, will they level off, or will they bust and put a few hundred architects back on the street?

"Design Firm" lol. Just sayin' cuz they do mostly executive work, some very crappy at that.

Obviously "design firms" is just an industry classification for those lists, it's not intended as any sort of judgment of the quality or focus of the work of particular firms.

Sometimes these firms need to continuously advertise just to deal with turnover.
