We all usually have door schedules in our architectural drawings, and I feel, followed by a door details sheet. This sheet is filled with door frames and door sill details keyed into the door schedule. Like S-1 is a sill detail, J-1 a jamb.. and so on.
Is this an outdated way? Do most people just key a door detail #/sheet from a random place in their set into their schedule? I have also heard something to the tune of, "we place most of our door info into spec's, so we don't spend much time on door details".
It would be great to hear your opinions, thanks!
