Anyone using CRM at a small firm?

eastsidewestside

Hey folks -

I'm wondering if anyone has encountered any CRM solutions being used at small firms.

If you're not familiar, CRM is Customer Relationship Management - it can function as a sort of database of all interactions with clients/vendors, etc. It can be used as a contacts database or project and task management.

There are a lot of very expensive CRM solutions out there for giant companies - SalesForce is one.

But I'm wondering if any small architecture firms are using something a  smaller ... cheaper than SalesForce, or even free. I know that there are some open-source solutions out there.

Hi, I'm tagging onto this thread. We are currently using Newforma for this feature. We are considering moving to Tonic DM for our project email and filing, sharing files and logging RFI and submittals, but we haven't found a good replacement for the CRM that Newforma provides. We are a medium sized firm. What are your firms using? Thanks!

Fuck CRM. Growth at all costs is what creates a need for a third party manager of your clients. If you're not keeping up with your clients without a CRM firm, you're doing something wrong.
