looking for technical term of a specific architectural feature

yes1234567890

hi everyone,

i am trying to find the exact term of an architectural feature. i stumbled upon this feature in larger cities and in communist/brutalism architecture. its characteristics involve avoiding windows or apartment placing on the ground floor or even lifting the building off the grund placing it on large columns. i have attached 3 exaple images.

thanks in advance!

The quartz standard would be the 'pilotis' of the 'unite d'habitation' in Marseille, France, by the old Nazi himself, Le Corbusier.

Why? Who knows. In this case probably just to be different.

One or two of Corbu's five points for modern buildings-- to be freed from bonds of the ground. Landscape on the roof, landscape passing beneath.

All this talk about pilotis and five points, Corby simply liked his cars dry...it's called a wall-less garage, right?
