Front Parking & Height of the Entrance - Need Help

nvspratap

Hello All,

I got a challenge for my restaurant with the height of the entrence and parking @ road level.

The enterence level is 4 feet above the road level. And I am trying to maintain the parking level almost equal to the road level (very light slantness - less than 1 feet).

What's the best way to design the front so that my restaurant doesn't look very height and unwelcoming.

Please suggest me your ideas and share me any inspirations.

Thanks and regards,

Pratap N

slantness is incorrect. The proper word is slantiness.

Put a cast iron railing, not a brick wall, and put it all the way around the porch except for the stair landing. Use two stairs at right angles to the entrance door with the ground steps being at opposite ends of the porch. Have the stair railings match the porch railings.

This gives you an idea. Imagine a second set of stairs to the left. The stair landing in your case will project out from the porch.
