I scored an internship at a firm for the summer that I'm very excited about. I've never worked in an architecture office before, so I'm looking for some advice or tips on how I could prepare.
I was thinking about reaching out to the interviewer, but wasn't sure if that standard.
It"s probably ok to reach out to the interviewer with your questions.
I would suggest taking care of any summer personal matters like doctor's appointments, getting your car fixed, taking pets to the vet, visits to relatives, etc. before your start date so you don't have to miss a lot of work.

Just show up with a basic understanding of how buildings go together. You'll be ahead of most.
