Architecturally trained, gone Urban Planning/Developer..practical book reccomendations

detanon

I am presently working with an urban planning/development firm. I enjoy it, but I don't understand a lot of the practical ways of assessing land...or at least the rule-of-thumb-type-stuff...and the last thing I need is a book on design theory...please no more...

Any recommendations for practical uses?

The closest thing I could find is "Land Development Calculations." About to pick it up...

any others???

Thanks!
