I am currently looking into developing air-space rights of buildings my Co. own and have so far instructed an architect to undertake RIBA stages 1-7. However I have been approached by 2 surveying Co.s who have offered to undertake a Project Manager role. The architect has told me that a PM is not needed for the project - so does that mean that architects undertake PM roles?
The issue I have is that the PM has quoted the same % as the architect and hence instructing them will effect the viability of the project.
Architects & Project Managers
Dear all,
I am currently looking into developing air-space rights of buildings my Co. own and have so far instructed an architect to undertake RIBA stages 1-7.
Many thanks in advance.
Were project management rolls listed in your contract with the Architect?
