I've got a question

alexpajak

So I'm doing a little remodeling of a room above the garage. And there is a section of the room that is "invaded" by the door way in the garage. What is this called? There should be a picture. Thanks for all the help.

I used to have a roommate that had a stripper pole in the apartment.

I believe the word you're looking for is "landing," unless you mean a more generic term for a volume that encroaches into a space.

Why don't you pry the unpainted top off and see what is inside?
