Residential hipped roof lantern/skylight source?

I need a residential hipped skylight for a historic Tudor house.

The opening is roughly 6'x8'. That's not firm, as I can adjust framing based on what we can find to fit, but that's the approximate size.

We got bids on a custom copper skylight, which is what it really should be, for close to $50,000. That's not unreasonable, as it's all custom, all copper, and includes the roof lantern set within a 10' x 11' copper roof (flat seamed). But I'm wondering if we can purchase a prefabricated roof lantern and place it within the copper roof for significantly less.

Sadly I'm finding that we might not be able to, because everything I'm finding online is either comparably custom, like these gorgeous ones from Tanglewood Conservatories:

or else super cheap-looking, like this one:

And, almost all of the results I get are from the UK. This is for Indianapolis, I need something domestic!

Does anyone have a source for a manufacturer of a roof lantern/skylight that is somewhere in between those two?

Artistic Skylight (never heard of them)

That Velux is pretty nice but will never fly with the historic commission approval. I hadn't seen any Velux options other than flat, though, so it's a start.

The Artisitc Skylight is a Canadian company, but worth giving them a call.

Thank you both!

I know an expert metal fabricator in Indianapolis that is married to someone who can detail, failing that contact Hope’s and have them fabricate it in steel, they built the originals & will pass muster historically, glaze it locally...less bulky that what's shown here.

Some of the big-dog curtain wall guys might have pre-engineered skylight systems.

OldCastle seems to:

Talk turkey to see if you can get copper painted extrusions, but that might be a stretch.

I've used both of these companies on projects in Ohio.  I believe the US arm of Town and Country is based in Chicago.

Have your local fabricator frame it from wood, then flash the outer surface with copper sheet. Glaze locally.

Edit timeout update: limited paint or anodizing options available

"Paint options include Kynar 500®/Hylar 5000® paint, color to be selected from our color chart featuring 20 standard colors, with units ready to ship 8 weeks after release for production. Finish options include clear and bronze anodized, with units ready to ship 6 weeks after release for production. The shipment schedule is subject to change based on project size and glass schedule."

Here's the color pallet - maybe you can talk them into the metallic finish instead of one of the 20 solid colors.

Donna, I know a guy near Lexington, KY who is excellent with anything copper and can also ship products. It might be worth contacting him:
