Hi archinecters, i'm planning a trip to Madrid for october, can locals and visitors please recomend must see architecture and places, cool stuff in general including food joints ;) Thanks!
lived in madrid 1 year, there is a lot more to see than that list of semi-modern bs.; caixa forum for a coffee, go to el retiro and walk the whole paseo de la castellana, take a break in gran via. And yes, go to el valle de los caidos and el escorial. But the most valuable tip I can give you is, take the subway from the airport to the city, you can be stuck in traffic for hours.

The most amazing space I've ever experienced.
