I am looking at starting my own small architecture firm within the AU. Wondering if anyone can provide me with some form or template examples they have used or do use within the architectural work environment that I can work from. I intend to establish a running list of office documents prior to company commencement.
Documents can be reports, letters, cover pages, client documents, internal process documents, records... literally anything and everything anyone is willing to provide to help me establish my own individual documents.
Any information forms and helpful tips would be highly regarded at this point in time. I currently have no idea where to even begin.
Hey, this is a great video on youtube that goes over some things about starting an architecture firm that I thought you might find useful to your endeavor(or maybe you will think it is trash). Anyways, in the description there is a link to an example contract that can be tailored for your liking and to your firms benefit.
Greg Periera: that was a great article. Thanks for sharing.
OP: check out this link to the "Architect Startup Toolkit" to purchase forms. You seem to get a lot for your money. I actually purchased it a while back and it's pretty decent. I haven't used too many of the forms. However, when I needed to quickly put out some professional looking proposals, it came in handy. Like someone else said, EntreArchitect offers a pretty similar set of documents that looks good too. They are also a great resource in general.
Small Architect Company - Form Example/Resources
Hi Guys,
I am looking at starting my own small architecture firm within the AU. Thanks guys!

Here's your cover page:

Contact Entre Architect.
Pay no attention ^^
first you should do a bit of research, you need to understand the workings of a business before you jump to the needs.
http://architizer.com/blog/how-to-start-your-own-firm/
start there and search a bit more until you have a more defined idea, then you can start thinking about the inner workings paper-wise.
i hope it helps, and don't give up.
i remember there's an architectural firm website that blogs about these things.
