Talk about freaks! Yeah. Sounds like you're ready for just some real classic stuff that will make you FREAK. On the last list I posted some great ENCH lyrics and also some very classic tunes. Now, it's your turn to hear something even better. This is cutting edge and just real insightful and for sure it'll become a very well known hit, one day. C'mon! Now, here's a band for you to get with:
*Raisin Catapult
and the best song for you: "crumble horn"
Give it a listen, why not?! You've got nothing to lose, here. It's good music and it's just sittin' there, man, ready for you. Are you ready for IT? Give it the old college try. Everyone loves this stuff, friend!
my best mate in studio would blare "massive attack" because his work was likened to their composition. In opposition I would play most "matter of factly" and rather quietly any Theolonius Monk I could grab - for similar reasons. The same studio lecturer liken me (not work/ or can i seperate them?) to Monk, because of how deeply passionate I was to it, almost to the point of fetish (no wonder I took the name architechnophilia soon there after)
I have a hard time deciding if I like the Black Crowes version better or if I like the simplified version by Brothers of a Feather better. Same singer and guitarist, just can't decide if the drums, bass, slide guitar, and electric piano are necessary.

The VU were so pomo, delineating the messiness of "contemporary" society, unlike the Beatles, or the Stones. Thome Mayne wishes he could express the same emotion...
Would love if Gustavo Dudamel could express the same symphonic range....

there's a brahms clarinet sonata that i first heard about 12 years ago that i still sing to myself on gray autumn days.
i would also include screamin' jay hawkins, "i put a spell on you," for no good reason.
