I am a construction manager who is getting more involved in design. Most of the design work is related to interior finishing and as a result, I am thinking of completing an Interior design diploma part-time. I wanted to get some feedback on how interior designers compare to Archs with regard to skill, what they do, pay etc. Would taking some architecture courses be a better route to getting more involved with design as opposed to interior design courses?
