have any of you heard of "lucid dreaming"? Its amazing: pretty much in your dream state, you are conscious that you are dreaming, and thus can pretty much control any aspect of your dream. I have recently been using my dreams as a 3D modeller, but with instant rendering, and i can create any shape/form just by imagination. Walk throughs are a breeze, and i can actually make myself "fly through" the space.

But usually i forget a lot of the dream by morning....and i do not have the ability to plot drawings ...

..yet.

Pretty cool Al. I'm waiting for the port, just behind the right ear- backup will be a breeze.

How about remote viewing for as-builts.

we use autocad2004 for both modeling and rendering. can autocad be possibly as good as viz/max for rendering?

Thr trial version is fully functional for 30 days. So saving, rendering, etc., can all be used.

If you are interested, the current issue of 3D World Magazine has the demo and tons of tutorials only available on the cover CD (expensive at $15, but it's really a great deal).

if fully functionnal, cant i technically just keep reinstalling it after 30 days,
albiet being a pain in the butt?

sure, but you have to reformat your hard drive to erase all the goodies it tosses here and there.
It's a little smarter than you think!
